Droncit Injectable

Veterinarians prescribe Droncit to treat tapeworms and internal parasites in dogs and cats. Just one dose of Droncit effectively treats pets.
  • Treats tapeworms in dogs and cats
  • Convenient single dose treatment
  • Treats several species of tapeworms including those carried by fleas
  • Active ingredient: praziquantel

Dogs and cats can get tapeworms from flea bites, eating an infected flea, or by eating infected rodents. If your dog or cat is diagnosed with tapeworm, your veterinarian may prescribe Droncit a fast, effective dewormer. The active ingredient in Droncit tablets is an FDA-approved medicine called praziquantel. This medication works by breaking down the parasite’s skin and stopping it from attaching to the animal’s intestines. The tapeworm then denigrates and is eliminated from the body. Droncit is a convenient treatment -- just one dose of Droncit is enough to treat most pets with tapeworm.

In addition, for control of Echinococcus multilocularis, a program of regular treatment every 21 to 26 days may be indicate
